Three steps, once a week
The reason meal planning fails is rarely the recipes. It is that deciding, shopping and cooking are three separate chores that never talk to each other.
Plan the week
Fill breakfast, lunch and dinner across seven days. Repeat the meals your household actually eats instead of starting from nothing every Sunday.
Get one grocery list
Those meals become a single combined list, grouped so you can work through the shop in one pass rather than doubling back.
Cook and keep what worked
Search recipes by ingredient, diet or time, then save the ones worth repeating so next week starts from something.

One list, and it shows its working
Sixty-eight items here, assembled from twenty-one planned meals. Quantities are added up across recipes, so two dishes that both want carrots produce one entry, not two — and the meal each line came from stays attached to it, which is what makes the list safe to edit in the shop.
Anything already recorded in your pantry is set aside rather than added, so the list stops telling you to buy another jar of cumin.
Three meals in, one list out
This is the whole idea, running on real recipes from the catalogue. Pick the meals you would cook and watch the shopping list assemble — an ingredient two meals both need appears once, with the amounts added up.
Pick a few meals
Toggle any of them. The list on the right is rebuilt from whatever is selected — exactly what the planner does with a full week.

Everything the week needs, in one place
Weekly meal planner
Three meals a day, seven days, built around your schedule and the food your household already likes. Basic Auto Plan fills the gaps when you are out of ideas.
Automatic grocery list
The list is generated from the plan, not typed out again. Quantities combine across recipes, and your progress is saved as you shop.
Pantry tracking
Record the staples you keep in, so planning and search know what you already have and the list stops telling you to buy another jar of cumin.
Cook with what you have
Kitchen Match finds recipes from the ingredients already in your kitchen — useful on the evenings when shopping is not going to happen.
Your cookbook
Save recipes, see what you cooked recently, and stop hunting through screenshots and bookmarked links for the one that worked.
Preferences that stick
Set household size, diet and the ingredients you avoid once. Planning and search stay filtered to them without asking again.

Search that already knows your kitchen
Household size, diet and the ingredients you avoid are set once in your Kitchen Passport, and every search stays inside them without asking again. Filter further by eating style, diet trait or time when you want to.
Kitchen Match works the other way round: tell it what is in the kitchen and it returns what you can cook tonight — for the evenings when a shop is not going to happen.
Read the whole method before you sign up
1,687 recipes are published as ordinary web pages — full ingredients, full method, no account. Every one of them can be dropped straight into a week's plan once you have one.

Common questions
Is Kitchgrow free?
Yes. Planning, the grocery list, recipe search, pantry tracking and your cookbook are all free to use on web and Android. Premium adds extra planner controls and premium recipes, and is optional.
Do I need the Android app, or does the web version do everything?
Both work, and they share one account. Plan on a laptop and shop from your phone if that suits you. Premium subscriptions are purchased in the Android app.
Does the grocery list build itself from my meal plan?
Yes. The list is generated from the meals you planned rather than typed out separately, quantities combine across recipes, and your progress is saved while you shop.
Can it suggest recipes from what I already have?
Yes. Record your staples in the pantry and Kitchen Match finds recipes you can cook from what is already in your kitchen.
What kind of recipes are included?
Over 1,900 recipes across 22 cuisines, with substantial coverage of Indian regional cooking alongside American, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Persian, Peruvian and more.
Is my meal plan private?
Your plan, pantry, shopping list and cookbook are tied to your account and are not public. Publishing recipes to a public Kitchen is a separate, deliberate action.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Kitchgrow runs on the web in any modern browser, including on iPhone, and there is a native Android app on Google Play.
