Includes 4 hours of almond soaking; active toasting and blending takes about 10 minutes.
Method
Place a small dry pan over medium heat. Add the rolled oats and lightly toast them for about 2-3 minutes until they become fragrant and slightly golden. Let them cool.

In a high-powered blender, add the thoroughly peeled almonds, toasted oats, and sliced ripe bananas.
Pour in half of the chilled almond milk and blend on high until the nuts and oats break down into a completely smooth paste.
Add the remaining almond milk, honey, and ice cubes. Blend once more until the smoothie becomes creamy, lightly aerated, and well combined.
Pour the thick smoothie into large serving glasses.
Serve immediately as a filling breakfast-style beverage.
